Applying templates based on labels
Templates can be automatically applied to issues based on issue labels.
To enable this feature go to Jira settings > Apps > Issue Checklist > Global Settings and toggle “Apply checklist templates from issue labels” option ON:
When the option is enabled, templates having exact same name as labels added to an issue will be applied upon issue creation or edition.
Label and template name must match precisely, case-sensitive.
Note that issue labels cannot contain spaces, so the same must apply to templates which you want to use with this feature.
Removing a label will not cause a checklist to be removed.
