Issue ID (e.g 10881) is a unique identifier which is different from the issue key (e.g. DEMO-523). The issue key can change if the issue is moved to another project. This issue ID will not change as long as the issue remains in the same Jira instance.
You may be asked to provide an Issue ID for support purposes. To get the issue ID:
Navigate to the issue.
Click on the ... menu and select Move.
Note the issue ID from the URL.
Click Cancel.
