Introducing Clockwork Lite: A New Chapter

Clockwork Free for Jira has been a valued part of the Atlassian community for many years, helping 10,000 companies track time and improve productivity - all at no cost.
However, increasing infrastructure costs and the maintenance of a high-quality product with strong customer support have made it necessary for us to transition to a paid model. This change will help us to continue offering the high-quality features you rely on while keeping our pricing the lowest in the marketplace, making it affordable for all teams.
What’s changing?
Clockwork Free will become Clockwork Lite on the 13th of January 2025.
From this date, Clockwork Free will have limitations (Timesheets will be limited to 45 days). You can still use the Free version without paying for the product. However, we will not continue to develop this product, and no new features will be added.
If you upgrade your current version to Clockwork Lite or re-install the app, Atlassian will move you to a paid licensing model.
With Clockwork Lite, you will get these additional features:
QUICK ADD OR EDIT TIME ENTRIES
WORKLOG DIALOG FILTERS (except Internal)
TIME TRACKING MODE INFO
ABILITY TO SELECT WHICH FIELDS TO EXPORT TO A SPREADSHEET

How to upgrade to Clockwork Lite?
We will remind you about this change once Clockwork Lite is released in January.
Upgrading to Lite will be extremely simple:
Log in as an administrator and navigate to Jira Settings > Apps > Manage Apps.
The Clockwork Free app will have an Update button.
Click on Clockwork Free to see a description of the update.
Click Update.
Click Accept & update to confirm the update. (The Act on a Jira user’s behalf permission is only used for to avoid automatic upgrading.)
You will see a confirmation message.
The app description will refresh. Click on the Get Started button.
