This version introduces the Checklist Template custom field. It is a single select dropdown field that holds a list of defined templates.
When the user sets a value for the Checklist Template field in a Jira issue, the corresponding checklist template is applied to that issue.
This feature can be used to apply template directly from the Create Issue screen, Transition screen, edit issue operation (e.g. through Jira REST API), and from the Automation rule.
