Find Work Item ID

Work Item ID (Issue ID) (e.g 10881) is a unique identifier which is different from the work item key (e.g. DEMO-523). The work item key can change if the work item is moved to another project. This work item ID will not change as long as the work item remains in the same Jira instance.

You may be asked to provide a work item ID for support purposes. To get the work item ID:

  1. Navigate to the work item.

  2. Click on the ... menu and select Move.

  3. Note the work item ID from the URL.

     

  4. Click Cancel.
